New York, USA, 28/09/2023 — Today GOSH, a decentralized git on-chain DAO platform, announced a partnership with Q. The Q Protocol provides a universal layer for Governance Security in the decentralized world. One of the features of Q is an integrated dispute resolution process, which enables DAOs on GOSH to settle disputes in a fair and transparent way.

DAOs on GOSH can now write up a constitution of their own, laying down the community’s rules. If decisions are suspected to be unconstitutional, they can be challenged via Q’s dispute resolution framework. This ensures that conflicts are resolved and the DAO community’s values are upheld.

“GOSH utilizing Q ensures that DAOs on GOSH have access to a sophisticated system that provides the certainty of technically binding transactions while simultaneously offering discretion, nuance, and accountability,” said Q’s Co-initiator Martin Schmidt. “Q is a completely new governance framework, building on and going beyond code is law. It enables discretionary decisions, democratizes access to international private law, and ensures a fair resolution of disputes on GOSH, and the decentralized world more broadly.”

GOSH offers developers and organizations a decentralized governance model on-chain. Every repository is a community-run DAO with no single owner, meaning they don’t have to entrust all of their development to one actor. Q’s decentralized governance system for the Web3 world allows DAOs on GOSH to work through legal frameworks and even binding contracts based on international private law. Decentralized protocols are a viable alternative to old-world legal systems, courts, and institutions.

GOSH now runs as Ethereum Layer 2. An advanced, scalable, asynchronous sharded blockchain that allows select partners to run smart contracts on-chain for Free, GOSH is the fastest, most scalable, and the first and only Freemium Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain. Members of DAOs on GOSH can choose to have their token available in Ethereum, effectively making any project its own L2. And because GOSH L2 supports any asset ERC-20 Tokenization with a click of a button, GOSH offers easy ecosystem integration for any project. This allows Q’s dispute resolution system to extend to any DAO on different networks seamlessly.
